First of all vaping can cause severe damage to your lungs like COPD. When vaping, nicotine and other dangerous unknown chemicals are entering your body and lungs damaging your organs. So far there have been two deaths linked to vaping. One in Illinois and one in Oregon, according to the Center for Disease Control. Scientists can not confirm vaping is a main cause of lung cancer, but research has proved that people who vape develop symptoms of COPD which is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Symptoms of COPD include coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, wheezing, and respiratory infections. All the listed symptoms are signs that damage has been done to your lungs caused by vaping. Damage is done to the organs that are essential to your survival does not sound like a good idea. Stop destroying the organ that is the one thing keeping you alive and going.

What is causing all this damage to your lungs? The chemicals and particles that are entering your body can you vape is causing all this damage to your lungs. What exactly? When you vape “ultrafine particles” are “inhaling deep into your lungs” based on research on vaping. Addiction can cause serious problems since the particles in your lungs can start to build up ultimately leading to a person’s demise. If people know the dangers of vaping why are people still vaping? It is because they are addicted. Vape contains nicotine which is highly addictive and causes heart problems and diseases. Another factor that makes it addictive is the flavors of the Juul pods. Flavors come in varieties, but they all have one thing in common. They all contain diacetyl, which is known for causing lung cancer. Did you know that metal is entering your body when you vape? Yes, when you vape metals such as nickel, tin, and lead are entering your lung which could be fatal if left untreated. All these chemicals and particles that are entering your lungs can be lethal, and most people do not know these particles and chemicals that are causing damage to your lungs.

Vaping can also damage your brain! Yes, vaping can damage your brain since the part of your brain that helps with decision making doesn’t mature until age 25. That means anything you do will become a habit/addiction. That includes vaping. If vaping becomes an addiction it can be very serious.      Some people may say that vaping is beneficial in a way, and it is a remedy to cigarette and tobacco usage. That is exactly what Brian Zimmerman said. He mentions how vaping is an alternative to smoking actual tobacco. A vape still contains nicotine which is the main addictive chemical in other tobacco products. Nicotine can cause high blood pressure, heart rate, and hardening of arterial walls which may result in heart attacks. Research from the American Academy of Family Physicians has shown that Juul contains double the amount of nicotine found in cigarettes. This shows that teens are more vulnerable to heart disease and other heart-related issues at such a young age, and all this is the result of vaping. If vape contains twice as much nicotine than cigars, teens should not be vaping and letting the huge amount of nicotine into their bodies at such a young age.

To conclude, vaping is not safe at all, in fact, it is more dangerous than tobacco itself. Vaping allows mysterious chemicals to enter your body, and the chemicals that are entering your body can cause severe damage to your lungs, ultimately leading to permanent lung damage, including lung cancer. Vaping can also lead to brain damage since the part of your brain that is in charge of decision making does not mature until age 25, and vaping can easily become an addiction. People may say vaping is beneficial since it is an alternative to cigarettes and other tobacco products, but it is proven from research that Juul contains double the amount of nicotine. Excessive amounts of nicotine can lead to heart problems and heart attacks. In conclusion, do not vape. It is not as safe as you think, and damaging your lungs and scar your whole life.
