The Roman Catholic Varsity baseball team had a decent 2019 season with twelve wins and and three losses in PCL play, making it all the way to the Philadelphia Catholic League semi-finals.  Under the leadership of Coach Robert Hill, our boys fought hard in each and every single game.  After a great season opening trip to Myrtle Beach, the team spent a majority of the season near the top of the league rankings.  Pitcher Alex Singer ’20 was recognized as first-team All Catholic, while Sean Flanagan ’19 made second team, and Erik Grady ’20, Gaetan Grandelli ’20, and Jason Kelly ’20 each made third team.  Coach Hill was similarly honored as PCL Coach of the Year!

He told me that his teammates were extremely helpful, supporting and fun and they have started “the beginning of something great.”
