On December 14th, 2018, Roman held a blessing for the newly installed stained glass windows above the Information Center. The windows, which were crafted in Germany in the 1920s and adorned Immaculate Conception Church in Germantown in the following decades, were purchased through a funding effort by the class of 1967. The goal of this gift was to pay tribute to the late Bill Keenan ’67. The windows depict the Nativity, the Presentation at the Temple, the Pentecost and the Assumption of Mary. “The stained glass windows create a cathedral of learning” said Father Bongard of the artifacts. The blessing featured heartfelt speeches from the class of ’67 and Mr. Keenan’s son. As further identified by Father Bongard, “This donation is another example of how classes remain loyal at Roman in supporting our present program.”
