Catholic High is No Place For Hate

On December 4th, 2018, members of our No Place For Hate club were invited to a leadership  conference hosted by the Anti Defamation League at the Philadelphia Convention Center. That day, we were broken up with other selected leaders from schools across Pennsylvania. First, we went over who we were as people. We discussed how we viewed racism, bullying, and hate itself. Next, we talked about the dangers of being bystanders, challenging those times when we saw hate and should have spoken up. Afterwards, we returned to our local school groups  for lunch. Then, we had our lunch session. The goal of the lunch session is to come up with ways on how to make our school a better place. After 45 minutes of planning, and going over key problems Roman faces, our No Place For Hate students returned ready to make a difference here at school!
