Opening Liturgy Reminds Everyone what Matters

On September 14, Roman Catholic High School celebrated the first school liturgy of the year. The mass was celebrated by Rev. Joseph Bongard with the assistance of Science Teacher Rev. Dr. Michael Bell. The liturgy welcomed back returning students and welcomed the new students for the first time. This was the Class of 2022’s first school mass at Roman Catholic. The mass was a good way to gather and give thanks to God for allowing us to have a new and safe school year.

The main thing that we do at Roman is love and serve God. There was no better way to do this then to celebrate mass as one. Students read, served, sang and played instruments during the mass. At the end of mass, the school welcomed all of the new faculty members. Special Guest, Superintendent of Schools Sister Maureen L. McDermott, IHM was on hand to install Mr. Vincent Tarducci ’02 as our new principal.  Mass was the perfect way to start the year off for everyone. Good luck and God bless us all!
