Basketball Shooting for Success

Brendan S. '19, Staff Writer

Once again our Basketball Teams are off to hot starts in their seasons. Freshman and JV are determined to work every day and get better to win as many games as possible. Varsity is preparing to take on the PCL and deliver a Championship to Roman where it belongs. Recently, they competed in a tournament in Washington D.C. and finished second after losing to Gonzaga High School in a hard fought battle. The Cahillites left Washington determined not to let the loss bring them down, and are working on getting ready one game at a time. Varsity Manager Daniel Flach said this on the Tournament,“ We were proud of the way the guys played.” They now move onto winning future games over break against Imhotep Charter, and teams at the Orange Bowl Championship in Miami, Florida.
