Spirit Day, Virtually via NBA 2k20

Covid-19 has affected all of us and has forced us to adjust to the changes affecting our daily lives. Due to this, school has been cancelled all across the world since the middle of March. Sadly our Roman community has been physically split apart. But that doesn’t stop us Cahillites! On Friday, May 22nd for spirit day, in addition to video challenges with purple hair dye and push-ups, we Roman students held a NBA 2k20 tournament. The tournament included a total of five rounds with two competitions, players on Playstation 4 and players on Xbox One, a total of 64 players on both consoles combined! There were a total of eight players of each class competing in the tournament. Although we all wish we could have been at River Field, this event was still a great way to bring us Cahillites closer together during this difficult time. I know we will all get through this together and I can’t wait to see all of our teachers, faculty, staff, and my fellow Roman Catholic students in September!
